COVID-19 Test No Longer Required for Travelers Entering Vietnam

PCR Test & Health Declaration Finally Removed

We are glad to inform you that on May 13, the Vietnamese government released official letter No 416/CD-TTg regarding the suspension of Covid-19 test requirement for all travelers entering Vietnam from May 15, 2022 onwards.

Previously, all incoming travelers were required to provide a negative PCR test result within 72 hours prior to boarding their flight to Vietnam but this, along with the health declaration, is no longer required.  Travelers may enter Vietnam essentially as they did prior to the COVID-19 crisis.

The letter also indicates that this decision was taken on the basis that severe COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths have significantly decreased in the last 2 months.
