Tiến độ triển khai vắc-xin

As of this writing, Vietnam retains one of the lowest vaccination rates in the region. Although the rollout has been slow to date (primarily focused on healthcare workers), reports from various government and business organizations indicate that through August and September, Vietnam is scheduled to receive a large amount of vaccines from a variety of sources. The hope is that the general public will be able to easily access vaccines beginning around October and the government is striving to have at least 70% of the population vaccinated by early 2022 (these estimates vary). The eventual distribution of the vaccines remains somewhat of a work in progress and it is yet unknown as to how exactly this will be done effectively/quickly. Most likely it will be a combination of both private and government efforts but we are watching the rollout plans and update accordingly.

The details as to when one can expect to be vaccinated, where, and what brand/type of vaccination is not clear at this stage although một số chi tiết are available. The website itself is also only in Vietnamese (although the Government has stated that there will be no discrimination between foreigners and Vietnamese for vaccines). There is no commitment to actually take the vaccine should it become available via this registration campaign. Remember to also check for any other resources available such as your embassy or company.
