During this session, we will provide insights for expats that want to enter or return to Vietnam. Vietnam has suspended the entry of all foreigners since March 22, 2020, until further notice to limit the spread of COVID-19.

While the Vietnamese government had tight control over the pandemic in the first phases, the fourth wave is proving to be harder to stop, even with strict travel restrictions throughout the country.

While the borders are closed to foreigners, the Vietnamese authorities still allow diplomats, foreign investors, foreign experts, skilled workers, and foreign students to enter the territory. Sponsored professionals who want to enter Vietnam, need to apply for a specific entry permit.
Nevertheless, Vietnam remains closed to foreign tourists for the time being,
